Solaris CDE 3.6 Question - Plz Help

I have several Sun Sparc Ultra 10 workstations. They are running Solaris 2.6 and CDE 3.6. When I press the open button while in CDE, and go to display properties to set the screensaver to 10 minutes it works just fine. But if I reboot the Solaris box, the screensaver is no longer set. How do I make it stick?

I'm no CDE expert but it sounds like the write permisions are not set correctly.
