I have had this happen to me a couple of times with Linux Distros. For some reason I can't get it to config the Network settings properly. I am using a smc 1211 TX NIC and a Broadband Modem. Fairly simple and using DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) it
works 90% of the time. Well. for Solaris 10 which I downloaded the free version from Distrowatch and installed all four CD's without any problems except it never asked about configuring the Network. And sure enough I get the error can't find desired website on all
websites I type in.
If anybody has any ideas or has found a solution to this I would appreciate all the help
TIA
