Discussion Solar Foods Solein protein powder - Thoughts?

Form Yahoo News! I found out Solein, the protein power under development by Solar Foods in Finland.

So it is made by fermentation to produce a powder that tastes like wheat flour. They mention protein but about carbs, fats, and fiber along with other things the body needs? This product if it is not just hype, may be able to replace meat, but I doubt that people will quit growing crops anytime soon.

I highly enjoy eating normal solid food, like steak and chicken breast, and fruit and veggies.

It is all the obese people they have been using. The Obese usually die sooner then normal weighted folks and there are more of them, so....

And it's a vicious circle. Then the people who eat Soylent Green get fattier and they get reprocessed into more Soylent Green which is fattier and pretty soon it's like 99% fat and 1% meat. That's almost as bad as McDonalds.
