So I had a trojan virus and I think I cleaned it up using a combo of Norton Anti-Virus/Trojan Hunter/TDS3 but a computer with Norton Internet Security still says I have Sokets de Trois coming over from my server. Is it possible that the virus infected the actual hardware router/firewall (Linksys Router)? Any ideas how to really get rid of this thing (I removed all files that were infected and all registry entries that were affected. All Trojan scanners come up clean.)

I've never heard of the router getting infected. Resetting it will put the settings back to the bios/firmware defaults if you're worried about it.

If it was port 5000, that was the security vulnerability of the Universal Plug & Play in WinXp. I think you can find the fix here. Norton's Security site displays it as that Trojan since the port is constantly open.
