Software won't detect new AOpen 1232Pro CD-RW drive

I just installed the drive and none of my burning software will detect it. The software will say that no CD-RW drives were found on my system. I bought this drive in Taiwan and I just flashed it to the latest firmware revision from the AOpen site.

You need to update your cdr burning software for it to be detected.

Get the latest ver & you'll be good to go.

Yeah, my motherboard detects it. I just installed Nero and it detects it. EZ CD Creator and CDRWIN won't though, but my friend had the same problem with EZ CD Creator. We're using a CD we got from a friend. It must be an OEM version. I'll install the latest CDRWIN and see if it works.
