software version 1.2.3 for 5th gen iPod

recently I was prompted to update my software version so I did. Now it seems I can't drag and drop songs onto my iPod. Is anyone aware of this issue and if there is a fix?

I am running iTunes 7.5.0.20

It may have switched you to auto sync instead of manual. Look in the options menu to switch it back.

Heh... I'm still on 1.0.0 on my 5G. So what's been added, and has anything been taken away?

Couldnt tell you. I bought a 3g nano before christmas only to be locked out of my itunes account for the past two weeks. Plenty of contact with apple support and it apears they are stumped as to why i cannot get in.

sorry about the time lag. seems as though if you select the Ipod you need to select the check box that says manually manage music and videos. I guess the new update unchecks this by default.
