Software to view images on desktop?

And no, I'm not talkign about wallpaper. I want to take an image and put it on the desktop on top of my wallpaper, kind of like a sticky note. Is there any software which does this?

Thanks,
Osman

not that I know of.... you could probably write one in VB though very easily. you just want a window w/ a picture in it?

Why would I be joking? 😛

Hmm...well doesn't active desktop eat system resources? Or have they fixed that? So all I need to do is enable active desktop, create an HTML file with the image in it, and add it to the desktop?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Right...I might want to move it/change it...add another...I want to do it all easily. It's pictures of my fiance. 😀

Oh...also one big disadvantage to Active Desktop is that in WinXP, the backgrounds for text on icons is no longer transparent...it's back to the ugly colored rectangles. 🙁

thanks mods for moving to this forum...i didn't evne notice it before.
