software to use remote with Fx5200?

I installed an Fx5200 today but cant get the remote thing to work that plugs in back of video card..

do I need special software to use it?
 
If it's that Personal Cinema card then yes you do. Who made the card? You should be able to D/L the software from their site if you don't have the CD's that came with the card.
 
got all original contents of the MSI Fx 5200, with vivo and remote, but I don't have the "media center" cd, so is there an alternative solution to using the remote with this card, and MSI website doesn't have any downloads for the software at all....

This is a regualr AGP video card bundled with vivo and a remote for the media desktop, but remote wont work unless I have the software..
