software to stream video off of my pc..?

need to share an entire directory to stream at work when i am bored. I tried that orb thing, but it would never connect...

Any other ideas for a good network streaming app?

I don't know anything about orb, but I'm guessing you didn't port forward the ports on your router that orb uses.

I am smart as hell when it comes to these things, I even removed my router and connected directly to the net with no firewall whatsover installed and still couldnt connect... I am not the only one with problems after searching their forums.
