Software to send "instant messages" on my LAN

Is there any software, I'd prefer shareware/freeware, that I can use to send messages on my LAN. I'm running Win98SE with four computers at my house. I'd like to be able to send messages directly from one PC to another. Anyone doing this or can offer some suggestions???

Hey thanks Pete!! I tried looking for that, I remembered something like that way back in the Win3.1.1 days but couldn't remember what it was called. I'll check it out tonight!!! 🙂
