Software to rip/archive HDDVD's

I want to archive my HDDVD's before my HDDVD combo drive dies on me. I have about a dozen movies which I'd prefer to not have to re-buy on blu-ray if I don't have to. I don't need to reburn them to blu-rays for the time being, I just want to archive them to h.264 on a hard drive. I'd like to be able to keep all the menus and special features if possible but not if that functionality costs more money. It would cost ~$150 to just re-buy the blu-rays so the software must cost < $50 or preferably be free. What are some good programs to do this?

Can MakeMKV do HDDVD? I ask becuase I also want to do this (even though I don't have an HDDVD drive besides my set top player).

MakeMKV used to do HDDVD, but it's hit and miss and I don't think it has done anything with them for years.

I used AnyDVD to rip my HDDVDs uncompressed sound/video and it worked fine. I don't think anything else will really work.
