software to password protect a burned dvd?

I'd like to burn some dvds soon, but I need the password protection of these files to carry over onto the dvds. I know I could just make a passworded .rar or .zip, but I want to avoid extracting a massive 4.5 gig file each time. Having several smaller .rars would be equally frustrating if I have to type in the password every 5 seconds to access them. Is there any free software out there to help me?
