Software to let me import photos from my scanner to my computer

I have a Brother all in one wifi and I need some software that will let me access pictures I scan

Why don't you use window's own utility for this?
While it don't have many features, it works fine.

I also think that Brother has their own software for this, like Epson & Canon does...

Yeah I just tried it and it worked fine but I dont see a way to let me pin it to the taskbar. I dont want to have to menu dive every time I want to use it

In your start menu, change the name of the software to "Scan [something]" then you can just type in your Win7+ menu and find it easily.

It's annoying when single-use software like that has nothing in the name that you would normally search for. Except for these stupidly-named items, I haven't "menu-dived" since Win7 came out!

As long as your scanner has TWAIN installed, you can access it and run it from Irfanview. That's how I do all my photo scanning. Then I can edit the photo directly in Irfanview. Works for me. The key is the TWAIN driver for your scanner.

I use Vuescan myself, but only because it allows you to scan multiple photos at a time.
