I was thinking about purchasing an e-IPS monitor, the Dell U2311H. However, I saw it has (in most cases) some major luminance uniformity issues. Is there a software available to rectify this, or some fix via graphic card drivers? It seems it wouldn't be too hard to implement some color shifting, but i found nothing so far. GPU is 5850.
Btw, what do you think about this monitor? I'd use it for gaming, but I'd like it to have accurate colors for general use. I currently have 2232BW. Are there any 24" monitors with similar price and image quality that you'd recommend?
