I want to extract files from .iso images without having to burn a disc or mount to a virtual drive. I know that IsoBuster is able to do this, but there are unknown limitations, as it is shareware.

I would like to find a freeware app to do this. Suggestions?

Thanks. First one I am going to try is Winrar, as it is already installed on my system.

UltraISO, Winrar, and 7-zip are all great suggestions. Try them all and see which you like. Winrar will let you do it probably the fastest as it does nothing other than compress/decompress. 7-zip is similar with much better compression but not as user friendly. I love UltraISO since I use it to burn images, bootable disks, and so fourth.

You can also mount it using a program like DAEMON TOOLS or Alcohol 120% which emulates a image file as a virtual drive. I have heard DAEMON TOOLS isn't as good as it used to be, but thus far I have not had any problems. Good luck.
