Software to encode gameplay videos?

So I have a mere 1.5 TB space on my desktop, and just now I found out that more than 80% space is filled up, and out of that 80% at least 60% are my recorded gameplay videos done by Fraps. Wonderful.

Now the thing is I don't want to delete them all, some are actually worth keeping (from a gamer's point of view), so I just want to convert them to a non-insane size. Most of them are around 20-25 GB, and some are over 30 GB! I remember using a software called Handbrake a while ago, while it does a great job of encoding it doesn't have any cut / join option, which I need actually. So is there any software available there for encoding these videos with retaining the maximum quality, and with a cut / join option?

Free is obviously preferred, but if software is good enough then paid isn't a problem either. It will not be more than hard drive anyway I think!

Thanks.

PS: By the way, I have already tried one free one called FreeMake Converter or something, but the quality is simply awful. So nothing like that.

Doh! Thats what I get for skimming through posts. Sorry OP not sure then.

No suggestions for software but an advice. Since you know about Handbrake, use it to shrink the size. Afterwards find a program to cut and join the sections.

Yeah no problem with that. I don't remember much but I used to use 21 or 22 and it retained very good quality and decreased the size a lot too, so that's good. But then I need a video cutter, so what's out there? Have no idea really! Also that software should only be used to cut the videos, it should not interfere with the video's quality.

Thanks mate. However searching further I have found something called Avidemux, testing this nifty programme.
