Software to combine multiple audio inputs

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for software that'll allow me to take multiple USB headsets (or a combination of USB and 3.5mm jack) and pipe them all into a single input into Skype. I do a podcast and recently a host has moved out of the state, so all recordings will be done via skype, but the other host would still like to do it in person. I know the easiest way to accomplish this would be to buy a mixer, (the headsets we have can also be used as regular inputs, not just usb) but we don't have the money to buy one at this time.

I hear there are programs that are virtual aux cables or something like that, but I cannot find one that works! I've tried a few different pieces of software, but either they're not what I need or they just don't work.

Any recommendation of free software to do this would be great, thanks!
