Software to check CPU temp

Hi, i was just wondering what software you guys use to check your CPU temperature. I have a 1.6a p4 running at 2.16 with stock cooling and was just wondering how how it was getting. Also, what is the max temperature i should let this CPU go before i decide to slow it down a bit? I have it at 133fsb and everything works perfectly, i don't want to go to a speed that would make me fast but sometimes unstable, because i like to leave my computer on all the time and i wouldn't want it crashing

I like SpeedFan. As for temps it varies too greatly to guess.
