Software to catalogue burned DVDs

I have several binders of DVD-R and BD-R with video content on them in folders. I need some kind of software with some kind of simple GUI that will let me...
- create a searchable database of the videos possibly scanning online for metadata
- add a category for the name and number of my disc
- have options for exporting the data as excel or some other format

I'm currently using All My Movies but I only recently found out it doesn't do well with exporting my database to xml (can only do older versions of excel) and it doesn't do CSV at all and I'm concerned about the same thing as always with these kinds of programs: what to do if it ever stops being supported or just disappears. I have another similar program, not for video, where I have a database of info. It uses a proprietary format, it no longer exists, the dev is nowhere to be found, and now I have no way of exporting the content at all. So, in short, I don't want to get stuck like this again, particularly with my video database that counts a few hundred BD-R and DVD-R.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

A spreadsheet will do everything but search online for data, and it's as futureproof as software gets.
