Software to bug my house?

I want to listen in to what my real estate agent says during an open house.

It would be easy enough to just leave a microphone plugged into the mic jack on my computer, but then the recording software would show if someone tried checking what was on the monitor.

Is there any good software for recording voice discreetely?

Turn the monitor off, and /or unplug the VGA cable? If the PC's quiet enough, they won't even suspect it's on.

Look for a recording tool that has VOX, maybe like this. But you'll probably have to turn up the sensitivity on the mic.
