Does anyone know of a software utility that could be used to raise/lower the AGP voltage. Current motherboard/BIOS doesn't have any provisions to adjust voltage. Causes lockups in 3D apps due to either a lack of or too much... any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know any software that can do it, and I'm doubting there is but on some motherboards you can alter the AGP Drive Strength setting in the BIOS which will change the signal strength of the AGP bus.

That said I would not at all suggest changing it unless you know exactly what your doing and both the signal strength tolerances of your motherboard/graphics card and what your PSU is capable of adequately supplying.
It's very easy to kill your AGP garphics card striaght out with an improper setting, and it's especially dangerous to use when running an overclocked AGP bus.

You can raise your voltage in your AGP Rail only with a Good PSU !!! ,...like the ANTEC 400W PP403X , 400W PP412X , 350W PP352X or better with the SPARKLE 350watt FSP350-60BNS or FSP400-60GN(12V) 400 WATT , all those Suply's hawe adjusting Pots inside for the 5 V AGP Rail and also for the + 3.3V and they fix the instability problems on the Epox 8K7A , I will KK266 , Epox 8KHA+ , etc. and also problems with the power hungry GeForce3 users .
Thank You .

Thanks for the replies so far but I need to LOWER it. Motherboard I have right now DOES NOT HAVE ANY PROVISIONS FOR ADJUSTING THE VOLTAGE. Any modern video card (i.e. GF3, All-in-Wonder Radeon) locks within 3 or 4 hours of playing 3D games. I have a new MB and Case coming and that should provide me with a stable do-everything system, but I do plan on making a basic machine out of what I've got and I refuse to sell it to someone who will be putting a better vid card in it. Tech support has been made aware of the issue and will hopefully concoct a new BIOS to fix the problem. There are software utilities that allow you to adjust CPU wait states (Waterfall Pro)... just thought someone might know of something that could help in this situation...
