Software that could avoid printing "ad banner?"

is there such a software that you could try to avoid print out the "ad banner" when you try to print out a web page? thanks!

i dont know aobut a specific printing prog that will do this, however there are tons of progs out there that will eliminate ads from the pages that you view, so you might want to go that route instead.

dam()

I'd suggest Web Washer. Been running it for a while now and it certainly supresses those pesky ads. Pretty good automatic cookie filtering, too, though some still slide through.

You may indeed find it more beneficial to prevent the ad banners from being displayed altogether. The best way to do it, in my opinion, is to list all of the common ad servers in your hosts file as described here. Makes browsing much more reasonable for those of us on a dialup connection.

Best regards,

I almost always print a selection. That is the only 100% effective way to make sure you don't print unwanted things, including banner adds.
