Anyone know of a good free software that can cut a huge mpeg file (kinda like virtualdub) then create an ISO out of it?
I've been given the tedious task of converting about 30 VHS tapes to DVD and I really don't want to do it on my main machine, then burn it directly (the "Transcoding" part takes hours alone). I will be capturing 2 hours on a separate PC in the basement to create all the mpeg files then I want to be able to turn them into ISOs on THAT machine, so all I have to do is grab the ISO and burn it on my main machine (that machine does not have a burner) which will take less long then going through the whole transcoding process.
