lets say i have a test machine. i need this test machine to be "virgin" everytime i install new hardware/software/drivers/etc. Is there such a software that will allow me to boot up to a fresh install again? i hope this makes sense.

1. install fresh OS.
2. install all the latest drivers/software i need.
3. save everything as "configuration 1".
4. reboot and install any additional software/hardware/drivers that i need to test.
5. reboot again, and everything goes back to "configuration 1" after i'm done testing.

is something like this available for Windows? and NO, hardware profiles is not what i'm talking about.

Ghost / drive image
You need to restore the images made though. Its not a simple reboot and done.
I have not used windows restore point utility ( for XP) but that might work too.

GoBack. We ship a light version with SystemWorks, but for what you want to do you might need the full version from Roxio.
