Its been a few months, is there software that REQUIRES the capabilities of the 3rd gen ipad ? I mean that won't work on the ipad 2 ?

If not, will it happen in the future ?

And is there software that works considerably better on the 3rd gen ? I don't mean just appearance, but functionally ?

Trying to figure out if buying an ipad 2 for $130 less is a good deal, or a dead end..

if u aren't a true apple fan i would suggest u to go for an android tab rather than IPAD..

they heavily lack features as compared to any android tab..

if u buy ipad u will eventually become frustrated abt its limitations..like bluetooth etc

At the moment the only practical difference between the iPad 2 and iPad 3 is the RAM, the screen, and the GPU. The GPU is built to drive the screen, so the day that a SGX543MP2 is not enough to drive 1024x768, a SGX543MP4 will be equally useless at driving 2048x1536 (or some in-between resolution).

That leaves the RAM. The extra RAM will eventually come in handy. It's just hard to say when that will be.
