Software RAID0 in XP Pro

I have 2 80 WD 8 MB Cache IDE drives. I want to do stripping but I have never done it before. I have a few questions.

1. Will I have to reinstall XP Pro if I use XP's built in RAID0 function

2. Whats the best stripping size to use for the array

3. Will I be able to partiton the drives as a whole like I would with a single drive, would Linux see any part of the drives?

0. you cannot put your boot (os) partition on the raid0 array.
1. no
2. i dont believe you have a choice (2000 doesnt)
3a. yes you should be able to, with individual raid arrays
3b. dont know. you have to convert the partitions to dynamic partitions before you can stripe them.
