Software Raid 0

So I can run a software raid 0 on my laptop.

My question is it worth it? I know it will use up CPU cycles but my CPU is powerful enough for me not to worry.

Well, I am a power user, and play Video games on it, other then that nothing else.

If you are looking for speed, RAID 0 is always better than not having it.

But just be careful, if one drive in the array fails, you lose everything.

As you can see, game loading times are virtually the same for RAID 0 and single drive...That is where HDD performance only matter in games. If your games access the HDD alot during the actual action itself it's a sign you need to more RAM than RAID.
