I got some weak software with my Tosh PDR M71 and was interested in a better program that will retrieve the pics off the digital camera and allow some image "fixing" without getting into photoshop etc...

When you plug the Digicam into the PC does it appear as a removable drive?

If so, you can use any image editing software. Two good (and fairly cheap) packages are ACDSee and Paint Shop Pro.

Try Ofoto's image program. It's free (I don't think you even have to sign up for it), and you don't have to use their service to use the program. It's super simple and fast (has built-in resize/red-eye/etc functions as well.

ACDSee and Paint Shop Pro are both good programs. I'm guessing you don't have WinXP? For me, once I attach my camera, a wizard shows up in WinXP or I can just access it as a drive. Pretty sweet stuff. Win2000 is a better OS, but some of the features offered by XP really do set it apart.

I am using WinXP...the software with camera works fine but is bit limited...there is a quick image fix which works nice on most pic..but no easy way for red eye reduction..which would nice...

The Adobe Photodeluxe Business 1.1 will not take recognize the camera and get the pictures like with my old junky I/O magic 500....

Kinda wanted a one stop program for the quick fix...
bigjon..thanks I will checkout Ofoto's...

thanks everyone really aprreciate it
