Software overclocking...is it possible?

Hey, all. I have an integrated VIA KM266 (ProSavage graphics) board, a PC Chips M825. Although the BIOS does not allow for overclocking, I've heard that there are software utilities such as ClockGen which can do the job when the BIOS can't. My CPU is an Athlon XP 1700+ Tbred-B, which has a very nice overclocking potential. And although my board is integrated, I'm using a standalone AGP card (not sure if that matters). Is it possible to push the CPU up a few hundred MHz, or am I pretty much stuck at stock?

Thanks in advance!

Speedfan has a couple of PC Chips boards in its settings config, but not the M825. Is there a way to manually set something in Speedfan, ClockGen or any other software utility?
