Software on DVD?

Does anybody know of software titles on DVD? It amazes me that there is still nothing on DVD but movies. That I know of.

There are a whole lot of DVD drives out there. One would think some of the reference titles could usefully be on CD. And collections of titles.
 
It's because publishers know everyone has a CD-ROM drive but not everyone has a DVD-ROM drive. The exact ratios don't matter, only their bottom line. We keep hearing DVD titles are "coming" but where's the beef?
 
Actually, some to think of it, we may start to see some PC games coming out on DVD by next Xmas time. Because of the X-Box effect.

After all, its got a DVD drive. Although I've heard that the Playstation 2, which does also, mostly has on CDR titles out for it so far.
