Software needed to log crashing games (BF2 & DOD:Source)

I've searched to no avail.

Recently built a new system. My old P4 w/ a Radeon 9700 pro would NEVER crash. I just built a new system, including Dual Core AMD 3800X2, GeForce 7800GT, and Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum, and DOD:Source (most often) and BF2 (seldomly) are crashing on me.

Is there a utility that I can run in the background that will log what might cause my 'puter to freeze up?

What is the power supply model? it might not be strong enough to power that system, which could cause it to crash. And about a program that loggs that, i hae no idea.

Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550.
The MOBO/Video Card are EVGA
2GB Corsair XMS
All drivers are current.
Did full fresh reinstall a week ago. Very few programs loaded.

Nevermind - found "Event Viewer" built in to XP.
