I have a local guy that is going to put in my water softener system and put a ionizer on my pool, and he asked me to find him an alternative way to do some advertising for him. He bought some POS dos based s/w and card that dials every # in a range, gives a speech, then takes a message if someone is interested. I hate to proliferate this kind of marketing, but like he said, all of his competition is doing it, and he is getting clobbered. I know there is some seriously high end packages that do this stuff, but is there a method for doing it on a more reasonable scale? I'm dabbling in Linux a little, but he and I would both be more comfortable in a Winblows environment for now. PEACE!
