Software for updates of new articles on a website?

I don't know where else to ask this..
I've got a site I read that has no RSS or specific social media. Is there some kind of plugin or program that will allow me to get an email when a new article is published on that website? Maybe it's something that can turn this particular site into an RSS feed that can go into my Feedly? Or maybe some other application like that that I should know about?

There was a site....changedetect or something I think. Might work. Google for it.

It would take setup on your part, but wget should be able to do it. You could script it to retrieve new docs, then send you a message. Might be a fun project.
