I use this one for TV shows. It's fantastic. Ugly but powerful, just the way I would expect a utility like this to be.

Assuming all the files have unique identifiers in the same place, this should be fine. Making a batch file is pointless for one command, though. Just run the command in the prompt.

I use that on my work computer all the time.

There are tons of other renaming tools on sourceforge. This is one of those things amateur programmers do to learn programming.
