I just finished ripping my CD collection to my PC, I still play my stereo a lot, and people who come over like to listen to music. It takes them forever to find a song in my 200 disc changer, looking thru jewel cases is slooooow. I remember Sam Goody and the other record shops use to have a huge catalog that listed all the music. I tried a couple programs but didn't find one that let me really customize the look of the output.

I'd think there'd be one that allows you to create a template from scratch, but I can't find it if it exists.

I tried Godfather and one called mp3lister and both lacked options. Main things I'd like to find - ability to tell it which ID3 tags to print and where to put them, columns would be nice so everything looks straight.

I use Foobar2000 to play and organize my music. I've been using the Chronflow plugin to display the album art and also easily navigate my library. You could use this so people could cue up music on your PC? Not sure this was helpful or not, I understand it isn't exactly what you are looking for but may be helpful?

thanks for the suggestion, but there's no PC in the living room and the music is playing off an actual cd player, since I've ripped it all to my PC I thought printing a list from the ID3 tags would give me a nice cataloug of my collection. As it stands it takes people a good while to find something they want to listen to. And I would kind of like a printed list of all my music, I have a lot of tapes & vinyl I've ripped. Finding that on the PC is obviously faster and easier but a printed copy would be kind of cool.

Sorry don't want to beat the dead horse, I know too late, but when I have people over I hook my laptop up to my stereo so I can run a jukebox like application, not sure if you have one at your disposal. I'll shutup now, promise :)

Tag and rename has an export feature that allows you to export to html/csv/txt or whatever you want, selecting whatever tags you want.
