Software For Editing ID3 Tags?

Over the years of ripping my CDs to mp3, I have lots of funky "Name" fields which causes sorting issues.

Some are formatted by track number:
01 - Let's Stay Together.mp3

Some by Artist:
AEROSMITH - CRAZY.mp3

And some just by title:
Cowboy.mp3

All I want in the Name field is the song title. Artist is in another field. I could rename each one but that would take forever.

There are some id3 tag aware file rename apps out there, most freeware. Do some searching using id3, mp3, rename and you should be able to find something thats works well.

LOL
I should have left it alone. The titles are all correct. But now all artists are "38 Special" and all albums are "Flashback".

EDIT
Got it sorted out.

Another vote for Mp3Tag. I use it along with Bulk Rename Utility. BRU takes some getting used to, but it is really powerful and makes things very easy if you need to change 12 files from a single album to all look the same. 02 - Red Barchetta.mp3 is how I roll.
