I'm a first time poster to this forum but have been reading it pretty regularly. Lately, I have become pretty interested in building a computer for the sole purpose of being a media library/server for my home entertainment system.
One thing i would really like to do is store all of my dvds on to the computer without ccompression (keeping the orignal quality) and surround sound tracks. I was hoping there was an integrated program that would allow me to burn them to my hard drive, catalog them, and play the disc or just the movie at the press of a button. Any ideas, questions, comments? Let me know. thanks!
