Software for capturing multiple webcams

Hey Guys, I'm wanting to set up 4-5 webcams around a music room and record some of our sessions.

Is there any free/inexpensive apps that will simply capture multiple feeds?

I have some editing software but it only supports capture from a single device.

It doesn't need to be much. Just enough to capture multiple streams and let me output the vids individually.

OR, something lightweight that I can run multiple instances of would be ok too I guess.

Thoughts?

If you already have the webcams, that's one thing, but if I was starting from scratch I'd get a couple of these, import the recorded video files from each device's SD card, and sync them in the software.

I actually have a few cams like that (goPro, Flip) and tried that, but the issue is I want these up in the corner of the room, and with those cams, its hard for me to see exactly whats in frame. I need to be able to adjust them and I can't do that when I need to see whats on the lcd to see whats in view.. So at minimum, I need to be able to monitor whats in view from the pc or another device. I have the older goPro, so it doesnt support the wifi viewfinder.

What DAW are you using, are you importing the video into your DAW, and how are you syncing the video with the audio? I've used a clap at the beginning of recording as a sync reference, but I'm wondering if there's a more elegant solution.
