Hey Guys,
I had a customer recently who said it was a con that we don't provide "Upgrades" for free.
She said that we had promised this as part of her support package. I have always defined things as this:
Updates = A minor change/fix in the program that results in a revision if the subnumber of the program (ie 2.0 to 2.1)
Upgrades = A major change in functionality in the program with new features (ie 2.2 to 3.0)
Am I right? Microsoft seem to have similar definitions with www.windowsupdate.com and OS Upgrades Does anyone know anywhere that acts like an IT dictionary to define this?
