Hey guys, my friend is planning to purchase a quality management software for the company he runs in Winnipeg. He is neither a tech savvy nor expertized in the technological field. So he wants to know what will be the minimum software and hardware requirements. While browsing he has shortlisted few companies providing quality management software and one among those is Unipoint software. Here are the details ( http://www.unipointsoftware.com/ ). Prior I schedule an appointment with them, I wanna know more about it. What will be the total expenses?

I suspect this is a poorly veiled attempt to get visitors to that site, but I'll go ahead and answer anyway...

The requirements and the cost will both depend entirely on the selected software package as well as the work load that the software needs to support including the number of employees that will be using the software, the size and complexity of the database(s), and interactions with other software and hardware on the network. The software vendor(s) will be the ones that can actually answer those questions with more than just a guess.

Minimum Hardware/Software requirements for the software can be known with a quick phone call to the software company.

If you're looking for a full, proper implementation plan you'll need to hire a proper IT consultant. No one on a forum can do that for you.

This, and the one above it.
