Softmods for fx5600 available?

I have a MSI geforce 5600nu running at 365/631 right now, might be able to go higher this is just stock cooling with stock goo. Anyone know of any softmods I could do to this card to get it recognized as something faster?

Also the card comes with winbond sensors for gpu temp/fanspd/voltages but I have yet to find a program besides the awful MSI 3d turbo experience that will give me the readings - anyone know one I can just turn on when I want to see, or some way to make it display in the graphics settings?

Holy cow batman! I've got the gpu at 400mhz and ram at 650mhz right now with 0 artifacts in far cry!

(Stock is 270/550)

i got the same card man
I really love this card i just boght a 6800gt and i can't believe it's going to be better than my 5600.

havent been able to overclock a thing been using riva no luck though.

how did you get up to 400?

LOL I bumped it up to 425/658 last night, still NO artifacts in NWN or Farcry!!

The built-in sensor says it only hits 52°C at max load! At 425mhz it did start doing something though, my monitor started making some tinny, twanging sounds and it would get some random lines flashing on the screen like the resolution or refresh was messing up.

try playing underground at those speeds... you'll prolly see polys flikkering...

btw, how much did coolbits autodetect for you for core/mem?

BTW anyone know what would make the monitor flicker/make noises? I hope its not dying on me or that I killed my VGA adapter....it even did it this morning at 270/550 in 2d surfing...

I believe I have the 66.93 official drivers loaded. I've tried riva and coolbits, but I like coolbits better since its built into the normal graphics tabs.

BTW the monitor funkiness ain't due to the graphics card, seems like its about its time 🙁 Oh well the 3yr warranty has passed so I got its use out of it.

BTW my Neo2 passed away this weekend, heh. Antec PSU + Neo2 can = death to one or the other because of bugs 🙁

When I get my new board here I will see just how far I can push this card!!!! Its going to grab the #1 3dmark score for a 5600nu, I can see it! hehe
