Softmodding a 9700 pro?

Alright I've read from a few places that softmodding a 9700 pro wasn't possible...then today I stumble over an article that said it was. I searched all over the internet and didn't find a whole lot. So I guess my question is...is it possible to softmod my card? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Omega Drivers DO have a 9700>9800 softmod feature that enables/hacks features that the 9800 series has that a 9700 can benefit from.

I have never tried them on my 9500np hard-modded to a 9700. But now that I think about it I guess I could.

That was a hack, not a mod and is already working in every catalyst driver since 3.4s.

if its not broke, dont fix it...

omega states that his soft mod tightens memory timings and is not for every card. Can reduce overclock potential.
