Softfsb question

I recently used softfsb and raised it to 112. I have an Asus K7M mb with an Athlon 700 T-bird and 128MB of Micron Pc133. After raising it to 112 I got blue screens and crashing. I lowered it back to default and now I still get blue screens that say there is a TBS MONTEGO PCI error. My sound card is an older Montego A3DXstream. I take the sound card out and everything is fine. I tried to reload all the drivers first and that didn't work. Can raising the FSB ruin a sound card?

Doubt it. I have had my Montego at pretty high PCI bus speeds. Higher than what you did. I would look for some other software probs first.

I'm waiting for my new sound card to arrive and with my system back to normal I did some Sandra benchmark tests and they came out ridiculously low. Can someone please tell me the damages raising the FSB can do to the different components of a system? Thanks.
