I was shooting a softball game today, sitting on the ground inside the field by the third base dugout. About three batters in, girl pops up a foul over the backstop, waaaay back into the parking lot. Damn thing lands right in the middle of my hood, the same hood I've had repainted twice since a January accident that wrecked the whole front end.

I didn't know it hit my car right away...I heard a "thunk", followed by loud "oooooooh's" from the bleachers. Heard someone say "damm, that's a nice car too". I asked, "was it blue?" 🙁 I had a crowd of people looking at it!


Worst part is that work won't pay for it...cheapies! Sucks, I wonder how much it's gonna cost to fix. I'm hoping it will only be $50-$100.

Go see the Dent Wizard. $40.00 to yank a dent like that here. If he's out and about and you can catch him, it's 20 bucks.
FYI...Ball games=dented cars. Girls can't hit the ball but 300 feet, that's not far to walk.
I coach a couple girl's softball teams. I never had my car hit. That's cause I always employ the 300 foot rule. 🙂

not so Lucky are you?

Hopefully its not too expensive to fix. Maybe use that suction technique to pull out dents.

reminds me of those infomercials where you can buy the gadget and take out the dent yourself.

Edit: Do you have to repaint as well, or just take out the dent? 😕
 
That dent doesn't look too bad. Still sucks though.

I was at my brother's baseball game last night, I was scared a foul ball would hit my car. Thankfully, it didn't.
