Soft toric contacts only good for 8 hours?!

I've been wearing soft, toric (for astigmatism) contacts for two months now and they're really starting to annoy me because they're only good for 8 hours at a time. After 8 hours, they start feeling a dry, and become unbearable after 14. Did i get some crappy contacts or are they all like that? By the way, these are 1-month lenses.
 
i have accuvue toric soft lenses, 2 weeks/pair..i wear them for 16 hrs a day and about 2 months each pair, and no problems...what brand are yours?
 
i use frequency 55 toric 1-month.. in the past they used to be irritating after a nap... now i never feel irritation..tho i dont wear them more than 6 hours usually...just to class and back
 
i have em, but dun wear em much. too lazy to put them on.. but lately i've been trying to wear em more, and it does get pretty irritating. i suppose i just need to get used to it.. i just dun like the fact that they cost twice as much.. damn astigmatism!! ^^;;
