SOE Launch Pad only launches IE

Anyone know a way to force the SOE Station Launch Pad (used in the SOE MMOs) to launch using firefox instead of IE? Firefox is set as default browser but for some reason it only launches Microsoft Internet Explorer when you click on the news topics / links in the launchpad.


Also, any know of a way to get it to remember my player from the drop down when it autostarts?

Noticed this myself during my 7 day free trial. Also that the game would randomly switch me to Dvorak and leave me unable to switch back. Between that and an hour of boring gameplay, I was reminded forcefully of why I quit EQ1.
