SODIMM -> DIMM Converter for DDR- Does It Exist?

Ok, so you're probably wondering why I would want a SODIMM to DIMM converter for DDR memory. I have a secondary desktop in which I want to install more RAM. I also have 2 512MB SODIMMs that I'm not using. Does some sort of converter exist that would allow me to use these SODIMMs in this desktop? If it does, is it cost-effective to use?

These items may be available, but they'll compromise the signal integrity, seriously so. Given how little plain DDR DIMMs cost today, it's hardly worth the hassle.
