I drink too much soda, and find myself looking for the next thing to drink soda wise. I have a bunch of 7-11's very close to me, I never go in the one I went to today, but I was right next to it so I stopped.

they have about 15 varieties of drinks, and stuff I never see anywhere else, like regular sweetened ice tea & Orange Bang(!) but the daam cool thing, every drink had 3 sub buttons. For Vanilla, Cherry & Lemon which you can add to any soda you want. I have never seen this, the closest was another 7-11 that had a few pump bottles you could squeeze some in afterwards.

So I'm sitting here sipping on a Coke with lemon and vanilla, it's pretty decent, a lot different than what I'm use to drinking.

This machine is the future of soda drinking technology. Going to head back tomorrow to try an Orange Bang (like an Orange Julius) with Vanilla. I wonder if there's a better machine out there that can do more. I like anything that can advance my Soda drinking.

Yes I am, I have been known to go to Mexico (I'm pretty close) to get cases of soda made with cane sugar.

I drink one soda for every glass of water I drink

What's your favorite soda?

Also, in before the people who say "pop" or other clearly incorrect phrases.

diabetes comes more from being overweight than sugar. I know drinking liters of soda a day doesn't help but a few Doctors I've spoken too tend to tell me to worry more about weight as a cause than anything else. Hell the lead programmer where I use to work had been drinking a 12 pack of Mt Dew every day for about 20 years and was still fine health wise. If that much sugar for that period of time isn't going to lead to Diabetes I don't have much to worry about.

I recently went to 7-11 and bought that "Black Ice Monster" Slurpee and noticed that soda fountain machine and a sign about making your own combination but didn't really pay attention to it. It seems like an interesting new feature that I will have to try the next time I'm there.

Invent one that dispenses rum and bourbon instead of lemon and vanilla.

it's delicious when it's ice cold and actually has the froth, I see this drink at about 1 out of every 50 places I go, if even that. It's sad because it's one of the best drinks. And it's one that couldn't be bottled and sold because it has to be fresh and frothy or else it just would be an orange soda.

Total carbohydrate intake is a better indicator as well.

well the buttons just link to a dispenser so making the lemon button shoot out rum wouldn't be hard at all. A machine that could produce 1 touch perfectly mixed Jack & Cokes would be a huge hit. the 2nd button could make it a perfect double :)

Hummm I don't like hard liquor but you might be on to something with your idea lol

For some reason, to me it sounds more like the past of soda drinking technology. The future, rather, consists of fewer choices and higher prices.

Soda should be outlawed. It's ruining America!

I know I can attribute some of my weight loss to elimination of soda from my diet.

Hmm... an Orange soda with Lemon sounds interesting! I must find one of these machines for myself!

Jones is GOOD stuff, the Melon is one of my favorites. But, it's hard for me to find and when i do find it it's hella expensive. It costs about the same as beer here for a 6 pack that's craziness :)
