Looks interesting.

My buddy was relieved after he found out he didn't have to go through BUD/S. It's some crazy stuff.

Ahh ok. I thought you had to volunteer/be selectively picked for that don't you? My bro in law is in the Navy now but I guess he's "lucky" he's a Corpsman serving with a USMC unit now. (Just got back from Iraq last Monday)

Ahh ok. I thought you had to volunteer/be selectively picked for that don't you? My bro in law is in the Navy now but I guess he's "lucky" he's a Corpsman serving with a USMC unit now. (Just got back from Iraq last Monday)

Because of the work he does, they may have "selected" him to have to go through it. I know they're forcing him to go to Jump School soon.

I have another buddy like your brother-in-law that's also a Navy Corpsman whos working in a tank tow-truck group with USMC.

They had a documentary on discovery or history channel about BUDS training. That looked HARSH. If that's what they show on TV, I can't imagine what they do when the cameras are off :Q

It was the Discovery channel - I watched that same one. It looked brutal.
