According TG Daily News, the socket AM2 will support 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, and there will be the following processors

Dual Cores
FX62 - 2.8GHz Dual Core 2x 1MB
X2 5000+ : 2.6GHz Dual Core 2x 1MB - FX60 clone
some current clock speed models modified for socket M2

Single Cores
4000+ : 2.6GHz, 512K
3800+ : 2.4Ghz, 512K
3500+ : 2.2GHz, 512K

The Semprons will also be based on this socket itself, and will have 256K cache at different clock speeds.

The only thing 'to' outdated I see is 667mhz ram instead of the higher 800mhz DDR2 support at launch. And the X2 5000+ being a 2x512KB L2 Cache instead of 1MB L2. But I honestly didn't go read the article. I am just going by what he posted 🙂

There is nothing rude about pointing out that this thread labeled "HOT" just links to an article posted a third of a year ago. If i were a mod i would delete this thread.
